KESHI RECALLS LUKMAN HARUNA FOR ITALY FRIENDLY

Dynamo Kiev midfielder Lukman Haruna is delighted to make his return to the Nigerian national team.
Lukman Haruna has not played for Nigeria since the 2010 World Cup, but has been called up by coach Stephen Keshi to the squad that will lock horns with Italy in a friendly game next month.

He has been in outstanding form for Kiev, not only earning a recall to the national team, but also attracting interest from Premier League sides West Brom and Fulham.

I was thrilled when I read about Keshi's interest in me," the Nigerian  told Punch Sports.I always want to play and give my best for my country. Keshi is a very good coach and I will be very happy to play under him and learn more things as a footballer.

I played in the 2010 World Cup and to do the same in the World Cup in Brazil could be fantastic. I am scoring goals in the Ukrainian League and hopefully that influences the coach to call me back.

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi , says qualifying for the world cup is the ultimate task, but  he would use the Italy friendly to try new players.
