Nigerian Eaglets are too good for Mexico......Coach of sweeden under 17, Roland Larsson

The coach of sweeden under 17 national team praised the eaglets, saying his sides lost to the best team. Roland Larsson, has tipped Nigeria to beat Mexico in Friday's Final to emerge as the eventual champions in the Fifa Under-17 World Cup.

Larsson watched his team get outclassed by the Golden Eaglets who defeated his charges 3-0 in Tuesday's semi-final clash, and the Scandinavian tactician is convinced the Nigerian youngsters are favourites to win the competition for a record fourth time.

"I think they are the favourites to win the trophy," Larsson told a correspondent of Vanguard in the UAE.
"They have been so unbelievable here playing some good attacking football, they are my favourites to win the Final and hope they achieve all the success they can get because they deserve it.
"I believe the Nigerians are the world champions already and expect them to justify it having defeated Mexico once in the group stage."

It saddens me to know that there is no league for this boys to go back to. I stumbled onto a you tube video of 2007 U17 final penalty shootout between Nigeria and Spain. In this shootout Spain scored zero with Nigerian GK saving 3 times and Spanish GK saved none. Guess who that Spanish GK was? Present day Manchester United number one GK Oliver De Gea and can any one tell me where that Nigeria GK hero is today?
